A careless, lay back and even unresponsible attitude to life….and time. No, it’s not me. I’m quite the opposite. But sometimes I would want to have it. So, these lyrics are not a small part of my life, rather a wish.
I woke up the day before yesterday with this short simple melody in my head. I sat down with the guitar and recorded. Instantly. It kind of worked. So, I continued. Added bass, tried a vocal melody line. Yes….. maybe, but I decided to continue. Put in a synth and wrote the lyrics. All this was fast and maybe…. I really didn’t have time for this. The lyrics came as some type of unconscious protest to myself being this way. Always in a hurry. Always keeping deadlines. But I wish I could resist….
