I have two grand kids. Olivia & Alicia Pihl. 5 and 7 now. You can hear them on my release Take My Hand as a sound FX just at the end of the song. The love listening to it because of that and they wanted to do more. They liked being in the studio.
So, last Thursday, before the live band GusStop came to the studio, I wrote and recorded a short song for them. An easy song so that they could add a lot of sound FX and sing the first to lines of the chorus. I wrote lyrics too. About Saturday, doing nothing and a lot on sweets. In Swedish of course.
The came to the studio Saturday. We had lots of fun! We usually do. And they added the sound effects easily. But when it came to the chorus… well they kind of lost interest so for now, you ca hear them shouting “Hey!” a lot and giggling in the end. Maybe we’ll and the chorus song later.
Anyway, they are a joy to be around! And they actually like granddad Gus.
